I’ve included a full valley report on sales for the first half of 2017 which shows a significant increase in sales from 2016. Two of my sales in this period are good demonstrations of what the market is up to in the valley. The sale of 768 Hunter Creek Rd at $19,500,000 saw an appreciation of 13% from its sale in 2015 indicating a strengthening market for excellent properties in prime locations like Red Mountain. The first house built in Snowmass Village back in 1967 when the Snowmass lifts first opened demonstrates that a new generation of buyers is looking for prime lots with the best mountain vistas and ski access to develop their new visions of 21st-century ski homes. This home sold for a lot value of $3,200,000.
