As we hiked above the Peter Estin Hut earlier this month. A beautiful tangle of columbines and other assorted wildflowers greeted us as we made our way to the lake; further evidence that the Aspen Valley is the most beautiful place to be in summer!
But that wasn’t all we found this month – or should I say, ‘found us’. We came across this sweet little one wandering around The Willits without any identification and after locating the owner and determining that they weren’t able to care for her, we happily took her in. Meanwhile and until we can agree upon a name, ‘Little One’ shall remain just that. We therefore invite your suggestions as to what she should be forever known as, so please feel free to suggest away! And as you can see, she’s already keen to travel.
