2015 has been an incredibly busy year for me so far; the Aspen Valley’s housing market has really picked up and as a result, I’ve rather neglected my blog! I’m delighted to report that with $30 million in personal sales to date (representing both buyers and sellers and we aren’t even halfway through the year), this is a clear indication of how the market has bounced back with a vengeance from its 6-year slumber.
In fact, the market has been active since last fall, with Aspen houses and condos leading the way and the other markets quickly catching up; inventories are shrinking, leading to price increases in Aspen and that trend is quickly spreading down the valley. I believe 2015 will be remembered for its long and bountiful summer season, enhanced by all the spring rains that feed our rivers and have given us the lushest landscape that we’ve seen in Aspen for years.
